I keep thinking, would I have made it to 139 had I worked out last week. But I ate so good? Drank that damned water.

I was 141.6 yesterday and measurements...nuffin' changed.

I won't give up, of course. I got like 6 weeks to go. I can do it and all that. It was just discouraging. I was 141.6 on Feb. 1st....gawd.

UGH!



O.k., time to bring the heat!

Well since I didn't hit my goal, my dumb icon stays. My rule...if I meet my goal, I get a better looking icon!!

Yeh, so in lieu of working out like I should have, I did that "WALK" down memory lane I was so busy rereading old journals and looking at photos and scanning and emailing them to people and organizing (around the clock)and watching tv...and eating salads and cereal and drinking water....so much water...that I didn't even go DOWN to the rec room and work out. A week wasted.

But I'll be back on track Monday. Tomorrow were going into DC to walk around looking at the cherry blossoms. We'll be walking for like 2-1/2 hours. I know it won't make up for the lack of exercise this past week but ...ugh...whatever...

And today is fiance's bday and I baked a cake...guess were going to splurge a bit and then freeze the cake and have a little at a time.

Sundays are my official weigh in days...my goal is 139 but I don't know... If I see 141 again-I'm going to scream...but it'll be my fault, I didn't try very hard this week.

Fiance is away and I've been able to ease off of the late meals. We usually can't seem to eat any sooner than 6:30-7:00. I hate it. My stomach feels better if I can eat around 5pm. So that's what I've done.

And I have been able to have big yummy salads for dinner full of olives, cheese, avocado, nuts, hard boiled eggs. I've really enjoyed that! And I've drank more water this week than I have in a long time.

64ozs through out my day...(approx. 14 hours).

I weighed in at 140.4 and if I can get to 139 by March 31st then I will have lost 6lbs for my first month. And that's great with me. No, it's not 10 but I'll take it. I do need to up the ante for April tho' Need to bring the heat a bit more.

I took the week off of exercising so I could spend more time with some serious spring cleaning (see other blog)

Sunday we'll be doing a LOT of walking around the tidal basin in DC looking at the beautiful cherry blossoms.

The Taurus in me is impatient...I want to see results fast!

The Taurus in me is also determined to see something through.

The Taurus (food lover) in me woke up at 4am and had the last slice of pizza...

F*ck!

O.k., I ate something when I shouldn't have. Put the club down Michele...don't beat yourself over the head about it. You slipped up.

It's Monday...you've dropped 4lbs since March 1st, carry on little soldier, carry on!

Yesterday I drank plain water...I learned something....I hate plain water..I've GOT to put some lemon and mint in it. It was a real chore. I did it, I drank my lousy 64oz but it was a chore!

I said if I meet my weight goal for the week, I get to change my icon...let me see...let me look through my library of options.

Oh and I didn't change one iota in my measurements...grr I got 8 weeks to get my shit together before bday and our friends' wedding...come on Michele...get off the computer and work out!

Rubble, reporting in...(do you hear the 32oz of water in my stomach sloshing around?)...after 4 days on the "Sassy Water" I've lost like 2lbs. After today I won't keep coming up with the concoction-I'll do plain water (maybe add lemon and mint) but I really feel the water drinking has been key.

I weighed in at 140 this morning but then I didn't really eat much for dinner.

But I continue to do my work outs, drink my water and eat my cereal in the morning for fiber (well, "morning"--relative term when you wake up around noon each day--sometimes later, sometimes earlier.)

Happy Easter all! There are no goodies in my future...not into Easter treats. However there will be ham Sunday night. Not the leanest meat, right BUT it's tradition for both fiance and myself. We always had ham on Easter in my family and in my married years and fiance says that's what the main meal was with his group so.... I just won't eat a lot.
